Pauly D Heads Home to Rhode Island for Post-Jersey Shore Season 6 Gig

Spl392767010-2058141524004449426

Jersey Shore’s Pauly D will get back to his Rhode Island roots this August at his latest gig, the 2012 DJ Pauly D, So Fresh & So Clean Celebrity Car, Bike & Concert Super Show. The all-day Providence event will feature over 150 custom cars and bikes from the So Fresh & So Clean Hand Car Wash (some of which will be owned by Pauly himself). It's important to note that this gig will take place after Pauly wraps filming for Jersey Shore Season 6 in July. Pauly D is

also slated to DJ throughout the event and will perform with a few “surprise” acts.

No word yet on whether or not Pauly D’s possee and fellow Rhode Islanders will show up to the event, but if we had to guess, we’d say they’re probably all looking for a good excuse to pay a visit back home!

Want to catch Pauly at the event? Head on down to the Rhode Island Convention Center in Downtown Providence on August 12 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Snooki Makes an Unexpected Appearance at Sick Girl’s Birthday Party

Asbsghcmai9idb-2791134613419746950

Maybe Snooki’s pregnancy has turned her into a softie. That’s what it looks like in this video, where Snooki made an unexpected appearance at a little girl’s 13th birthday party in Poughkeepsie, NY — the town of which Snooks was once the “Princess.” This little girl is very special, however. Gabriella Falzarine recently grabbed the hearts of many local news viewers after both of her kidneys failed, and her search for a donor made the news last year. Snooki made an unusually quiet and non-flashy appearance at the party, agreeing to sign copies of her new book Gorilla Beach for Gabriella and her friends, who appear to be little fans-in-training.

At the party, Gabriella’s family announced that they finally found a kidney donor.

Check out the video below.

DJ Battle! Deadmau5 Slams Pauly D, Pauly Responds With Jokes

Tju-538316574614095212

Pauly D released his music video for “Night of My Life” earlier today, and he did what any other reality star would do: posted it on Twitter and asked what fans thought. Unfortunately, one fan and house music star decided to take this chance to spark yet another feud involving a Jersey Shore star and a celebrity. Deadmau5 is a house music producer who works with tons of DJs, so he took it upon himself to respond to Pauly's tweet by tweeting, “Well since you asked, i didn't really enjoy it. it looked like it cost about $150 to make, and nothing really creative about it.”

Pauly took the high road by not replying to Deadmau5 directly, but instead tweeted, “T-Shirt $40 Jeans $120 Hair Gel $12 Being Hated On By Deadmau5 #Priceless.” A few of Pauly’s fans and Jersey lovers started piling on, calling Deadmau5 a hater and mocking him. The producerreplied with, “You clearly don't know me enough if you thought that was ‘hating.’ was just some friendly-ish advice.”

Deadmau5 did attempt to get the last word in by tweeting, “Well, now that Jersey (and quite possibly the rest of the eastern seaboard) 'came at me bro' i guess its time for bed soon.”

For what it’s worth, Pauly is in good company when it comes to feeling the wrath of Deadmau5’s snarky tweets. The producer recently slammed Madonna for allegedly referencing Ecstasy at a recent concert. Madonna ended the feud by charming the opinionated DJ and tweeting a cute photo to Deadmau5 explaining she never advocates the use of illegal drugs. Maybe Pauly should respond by tweeting a cute photo of himself in bed and tell Deadmau5 to take it easy and stop being such a hater?

Either way, we just want to see these two DJs end their feud and make beautiful music together. Is that too much to ask?

Snooki Has a Crafty Side: What Cute Accessory Did She Make? (PHOTO)

With Snooki about halfway through that pregnancy of hers, she's becoming more maternal and responsible by the day. C'mon, eating fruit at a movie theater, giving up tanning, and setting a curfew for Jionni? Are these lifestyle changes even legal in the guido world? The Jersey Shore star is clearly getting into mommy mode, but who knew she made her own hair bows too? When a fan commented on how adorable Snooki's polka-dotted bow was in a recent Twitter photo, she replied, "Thanx! I made it."

You know what this means, right Snookaholics? This mommy-to-be could be the next Etsy phenomenon for handmade baby gear! After all, she is launching a baby slippers line. Wishful thinking, you say? OK, we'll stick to the cute pregnancy hair bows for now.

From “Jersey Shore” And His Own “Project,” Pauly D Celebrates Shrine’s Birthday On The Turntables

Tonight I learned that Pauly D is a man after my own heart.

“It all starts with the sneakers,” the “Jersey Shore” and “Pauly D Project” star says during the quick media availability inside the MGM Grand theater. “Then the rest follows.”

I hear ya!

We were inside the theater lobby because a sold out crowd had taken over the casino floor outside the club, each person hoping to get a glimpse of the guy who made “cabs are here” part of our everyday language.

As I walked from the parking garage elevator into the casino, the line started almost right around the corner and continued around the casino perimeter up to Shrine’s hefty doors.

I’ve covered quite a few of these events, and I’m STILL trying to wrap my head around how big that crowd was.

But back to the man of the hour, Mr. Yeah Buddy himself.

I was a little apprehensive because I haven’t had many pleasant experiences with “Jersey Shore” cast members in the past, but Pauly D was very enjoyable, and funny! In our brief time with him he discussed season 6 of “Jersey Shore” where he referred to a “preggers” Snookie, his single and upcoming album as well as his new pre game cocktail REMIX.

And yes, he actually said “Yeah buddy!” at least once.

After a few minutes he and his head of security thanked everyone and politely excused themselves because it was time for him to DJ.

This is where things got crazy.

I could hardly move as I got closer to the dance floor, and the area in front of a VIP area where they had built a special DJ booth for Pauly D.

He wasn’t the only one drawing attention though, DJ Biggie, Ryan Labbe, JROC and other “Pauly D Project” cast members were also at Shrine sampling some of the Connecticut night life.

I was pleasantly surprised with how nice they all were, very open to a quick picture, JROC, a marketing executive in Las Vegas, even gave me a high five.

Also floating around in the crowd was Albie Mazno, who will sometimes appear on “Real Housewives of New Jersey” with his mom, Caroline. I know this because I have always thought he was adorable, sue me! He was incredibly nice and I found it refreshing that he wasn’t parked at a VIP table, instead I found him at the back bar waiting to order a drink with a few of his friends.

What I took away from the night though is that he may be known for “Jersey Shore,” and you may have your preconceived notions of what he can do, but Pauly D put on a great set, I thoroughly enjoy him as a DJ. I had no idea what to expect, but from the show I figured a lot of house music and fist pumping. Not the case. I heard all of my favorite artists like Drake and Tyga, he kept the crowd going and, of course, dancing until the club closed.

Yeah buddy.

Pauly D’s Official Remix Pre-Gaming Cocktail Line Launches With Fruity Names

Paulydremix--3842870044870914926

We reported that Pauly D was coming close to announcing his own line of cocktails called Remix Pre-Game Cocktails. Today, he made it official and launched the collection of pre-mixed drinks with scrumptious-sounding names. The drinks, which are designed for pre-gaming before going out, are named Oye Mojito, Yeah Yumberry, Strawberry Holla-peno, and Starfruit. We can definitely hear Pauly D’s voice reciting all of those names. The bottle design is pretty cute, though it will probably skew female considering the amount of bright colors. We’d consider a Jersey Shore drinking game where we had to drink one of these fruity flavors every time Pauly said “Yeah, buddy!” We’d need to order a lot, though!

Whoa: What Did The Situation Do to His Hair? (PHOTO)

The Situation's been through a lot this year, so we'll give him a break about this new hairdo, but we can't help but wonder if his barber straight up walked out mid-haircut. The Jersey Shore star, who will be appearing on Fox's new dating show, The Choice, was spotted running errands in New Jersey yesterday (May 14), showing off an entirely new look — big bulky muscles and a partially shaved head. Who knows, maybe The Sitch is trying to change his image for Season 6 now that he's clean and out of rehab. More power to him for being bold and, um, unique, but let's hope the new 'do doesn't affect his luck with the Seaside ladies.

Jersey Shore Celebrity Feuds: Guidos vs. The World

Snooki-tanning-lady--3498216062733268491

It's an unwritten law of life that you can't be the star of a reality show on the level of Jersey Shore without getting into a feud or two with other random famous people. In light of that, let's take a walk down memory lane with the best examples of Jersey Shore stars fighting with other celebrities. And politicians. Mostly politicians. Snooki vs. Tan Mom: Snooki called the now infamous Tan Mom, who was arrested for allegedly taking her kid into a tanning bed, crazy. Tan Mom fired back, calling Snooks "fat," "disgusting," and "fake." We're definitely Team Snooki here.

JWOWW vs. Bristol Palin: JWOWW got into a one-sided fight with Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol, calling Bristol "uneducated" and "ignorant" because of her anti-gay marriage stance. We want Bristol to fight back so, so badly. Because, come on, what could be more randomly hilarious than a full on feud between JWOWW and Sarah Palin's daughter?

Chris Christie vs. Snooki: Okay. There are a lot of examples of Jersey Shore politicians dissing the cast, but none as good as New Jersey governor Chris Christie. He banned a tax break for the show, but that's fine. That's politics. What we find notable is that he also took the time to respond to Snooki tweeting about how she wasn't going to vote for him. You're a politician talking about Snooki's random tweet, dude. You automatically lose.
